"Nationalpark Harz" in the heart of Germany, specifically to the "Ilsetal."
3 different routes will be provided for you:
WEASEL (fast)
As quick as a weasel, we’ll hike over rough and smooth terrain along the Ilse in challenging conditions. If you love a challenge, you’ll love this route!
Highlight: The beautiful Ilse waterfalls. (Difficulty: 7 km // 300 meters elevation gain)
BROWN OWL (medium)
This tour offers great views as we take a kind of ridge path. It starts with a short but steep climb, followed by a gentle incline for a more relaxed hike.
Highlight: Panoramic view from Ilsestein – especially in good weather. (Difficulty: 4.5 km // 250 meters elevation gain)
SALAMANDER (slow)
One step at a time is the motto on this route. And you’ll see that even on forest paths, you can work up a sweat.
Highlight: Extensive information about the Harz region. (Difficulty: 3.5 km // 250 meters elevation gain)
Get ready for an absolutely stunning hike! The journey might take a bit longer, but the breathtaking views and serene landscapes will make it all worth it.

08:30 PM - Arrive back at the office in Berlin
Friedrichshagen towards Müggelsee
For those who prefer to stay in the area and avoid longer travel times, this option offers a delightful local adventure.
We'll start at Friedrichshagen railway station and stroll through the charming district of Friedrichshagen towards Müggelsee. The path leads us through the Spree tunnel to the southern shore of the picturesque Großer Müggelsee. As we walk along the shore, we’ll immerse ourselves in nature and, if the weather permits, even make a detour to Müggelberg, where the iconic Müggel Tower awaits.
Lunch will be at Rübezahl am Müggelsee, a restaurant with a lovely terrace right on the water. Here, we’ll savor regional dishes and cool drinks while enjoying the stunning lake view.
Our return to Friedrichshagen will follow a slightly different route, also along the lake. Alternatively, there’s the option of taking a scenic ferry ride back to Friedrichshagen.
